Julie’s career at Supratec

"Arriving with a fixed-term contract at Supraero in December 2012 as a Junior Sales Administration Assistant, covering for maternity leave, I was then hired in 2013 with a permanent contract in the same position, but dedicated to the new client Zodiac."

A few words about her profession

"I'm the dedicated manager for the Zodiac client account.
I manage this client all the way from the price offer to issuing the invoice or payment, depending on the case.
I think of myself as the “buffer” between all intervening services, in order to best meet the client's requirement. Being their main point of contact, I have to make sure that all stages, even ones handled by other services, are carried out on schedule.
Because of that, I centralise all stages. "

Her daily routine

"I receive the client price requests, and after sourcing with our suppliers to find the best offer, I send the price offer to the client.
Once the offer is approved, I save it in our ERP and proceed with the order with the chosen supplier. The procurement department then takes over the follow-up and receipt of the order. But I’m kept in the loop because I have to make sure that the time frames are met (OTD).
Once the order is delivered to the Supratec warehouse, I deal with creating the delivery notes. Delivery is then carried out, and I generate the invoice.
I also step up when there are disputes regarding the order or the invoicing.
My added value = the service provided to our clients!"

Her most memorable project

"The development of the client Zodiac, from its entry onto the Supraero client list to its current-day importance, was an extremely gratifying project for me.
In fact, when I arrived 5 years ago we were just starting with Zodiac, and today they are one of our most important clients. It takes 2 full-time employees to manage the account."

Her next challenge

"I want to expand the range of products offered to Zodiac in order to provide them with even more solutions.
For example, in addition to the simple product sourced from the supplier, we could propose kits, or search for a precise product following specific specs.
It’s an advantage in terms of our position as distributor, which will promote and reinforce our client relations."

A final word from Julie

"My client's satisfaction is what drives me. My work is showcased in that way. It pushes me to be an even greater source of proposals and optimise proposed solutions."
