Johann’s career at Supratec

"Having arrived at Supratec in 2001 after exploring my professional career for 10 years as a Dental Technician, I had everything to learn in my new role as Technical Manager of Testing and Applications.
Thanks to Supratec, I received training in the form of in-house sessions, as well as external ones with suppliers like Delo.
In particular, I completed the EWF diploma course from Rescoll in 2010."

A few words about his profession

"Once the clients’ needs have been understood by the sales representatives and marketing department, I take charge of carrying out tests directly with the client’s parts to find a suitable solution according to the specifications we were given.
Since each need is different, so is every solution. Therefore, new solutions have to be found each day.
We can also offer complete solutions to our clients with plasma treatments, dosers, and even robots for warehouse movements."

His daily routine

"Whether in the office, a client meeting or the Syneo App’Lab, no day is quite the same!
I process testing, demonstration, bonding and dosage requests from clients, and I prepare the meeting. Depending on the client’s need, I seek out the most appropriate supplier.
I also take care of preparing specific orders with the warehouse.
Lastly, I communicate with the Syneo sales teams."

His most memorable project

"The cap for the fragrance “La vie est belle” was a particularly great project because I started from scratch during a discussion with the client. The client needed a solution to glue a transparent plastic element onto a metal plate, all without visible glue.
After 1 year of testing and exchanges with the client, the solution was launched!
Following the commercial success of the perfume and our adapted solution, the client now has 3 integrated machines, and produces 1 million caps each month..."

His next challenge

"I recently returned from a new supplier in Asia, with whom we’re looking to build an exclusive partnership. It would allow us to provide new solutions and further respond to problems."

"The client relationship is fundamental for me. The order of the proposed solution is the culmination of my work and is what encourages me every day to offer more and more innovative and diversified solutions.
After 17 years with Supratec, I’m still just as passionate and motivated in my work!"
